I have a certain taste when it comes to female vocals. Some of the lyrics do not need to be clear at all in the current style I prefer, it is more of an instrument, filling in space to help counter act other instruments. Not all the time, but the vocals may be used as the main hook. Alice Glass and the production of her vocals in the two songs I provided from the Crystal Castles do not make it clear to the listeners what she is saying, mostly saturated, but it brings tension to it and emotion. They have a huge influence on me for over 15 years to this day. I plan to carry that inspiration.

Bloom by Odesza, 17 by MK, along with Oblivion and Easy, give me the same feeling of nostalgia for some reason I can not explain. That nostlogia is something I plan to add to my next projects. The melodic keys, reverbed vocals, I do not know exactly but it brings a specific energy.

Cypher, T Word, and Part 1 bring a bass heavy energy after an energetic melody sequence and atmosphere which is something I plan to bring to some of the songs in my next project. Bringing that bass heavy feel to nostalgic energy is a plus for what I am looking for.  Don't Say the T Word is almost a joke of a song, feeliing like it does not want to be classified as "Trance" but it is, and Mat Zo lets the listeners know with the title of the song. That is the type of creative output I like to hear and see.

For the last song, it is simply a festival and party starter, I must have a song to raise the blood pressure for four minutes straight. Not just the song, the history of what SKRILLEX brought to the rave scene in the early 2010s. It is a statement for the scene, a reminder to build my own path from INSPIRATION.
